Bethany Gray is an Arizona State Certified Educator in Secondary Science and History and Middle Grades Mathematics (up to Algebra 1). With over 10 years of experience in brick and mortar teaching and 6 years of online tutoring one on one and small groups for school districts across the country she also has a real passion for online education.

She also loves experiential learning, and as a former National Park Service Interpretive (educational) Ranger and a working field biologist she brings hands-on, real world experience to the micro block classes she offers. All classes will have a core curriculum that can be conveyed virtually and are capped with either an in person field trip to learn by doing, or an in home experience where students can watch the science they are learning happen and explore it.

Her current focus is on providing personalized and small group tutoring that focuses on foundational skills and building confidence while filling learning gaps & fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine understanding of the world around them. Her goal is to equip students with the strong academic foundation they need to succeed in the challenging courses they will experience in high school, college and beyond.
